Uzbekistan Airways started to operate flights to Gatwick International Airport (source)
● Uzbekistan Airways connected Tashkent International Airport in Uzbekistan and Gatwick International Airport in London with direct passenger regular flights starting from 7 April 2024
● The flights are operated every Sunday using Airbus 320 Neo equipment
Somon Air passed the IOSA safety audit (source)
● Somon Air, a Tajikistan carrier has successfully passed the International Air Transport Association's (IATA) Operational Safety Audit
● The airline has been granted the status of a safe international carrier and received a certificate valid until 20 March 2026
Utair to connect Tyumen and Samarqand (source)
● Utair, a Russian airline is set to operate direct passenger flights ex Tyumen to Samarkand from 30 April 2024
● The flights will be operated once a week on a Boeing 737-800 aircraft
