Uzbekistan Airways started to operate flights to Gatwick International Airport (source)

Uzbekistan Airways connected Tashkent International Airport in Uzbekistan and Gatwick International Airport in London with direct passenger regular flights starting from 7 April 2024

The flights are operated every Sunday using Airbus 320 Neo equipment

 

Somon Air passed the IOSA safety audit (source)

Somon Air, a Tajikistan carrier has successfully passed the International Air Transport Association's (IATA) Operational Safety Audit

The airline has been granted the status of a safe international carrier and received a certificate valid until 20 March 2026

 

Utair to connect Tyumen and Samarqand (source)

Utair, a Russian airline is set to operate direct passenger flights ex Tyumen to Samarkand from 30 April 2024

● The flights will be operated once a week on a Boeing 737-800 aircraft
