This week was filled with Air Samarkand's plan to connect Samarkand and Istanbul, Uzbekistan Airways to increase flights to Jakarta, and more.

Air Samarkand to operate flights to Istanbul (source)

Air Samarkand (SKD) to connect Samarkand and Istanbul with direct passenger flights starting on 21 March 2024

The flights will be operated twice a week using Airbus A321neo aircraft

 

Uzbekistan Airways to increase flights to Jakarta (source)

Uzbekistan Airways (HY) is set to increase the number of regular passenger flights ex Tashkent to Jakarta to two flights per week starting in April

The national carrier will operate flights on Boeing 787-800

 

Qazaq Air was granted a permit for regular flights to Uzbekistan (source)

Qazaq Air (IQ) has gained permission from the Civil Aviation Agency of Uzbekistan's Ministry of Transport to operate regular flights to Uzbekistan

After obtaining the permission, the Kazakhstan airline is able to operate regular passenger flights ex Turkestan to Tashkent VV
