China Southern Airlines is set to launch flights to Kyrgyzstan
China Southern Airlines will launch direct regular passenger flights ex Guangzhou, China to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan VV on 29 March 2026
All flights will be operated twice weekly using Boeing 737 aircraft
SCAT Airlines expands fleet with new Boeing jets
Kazakhstan SCAT Airlines received two Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft leased from BOC Aviation at the manufacturer's Seattle facility, bringing its total MAX family fleet to 14 aircraft
Serving currently as Central Asia's sole operator of the aircraft type, the carrier anticipates nine additional MAX deliveries between 2027 and 2028 and recently began constructing a full-cycle maintenance hangar at its Shymkent base

All flights will be operated twice weekly using Airbus A320neo aircraft

Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan achieve record freight turnover
Bilateral freight transportation hit a ten-year high in 2025, reaching 32.3 million tons with a 16 percent year-over-year increase, largely driven by significant growth in Kazakh exports and grain shipments
Positive momentum has carried over into 2026, showing a 37.5 percent surge to 6.6 million tons in the first two months alone and prompting railway heads to prioritize the development of the Darbaza-Maktaaral route
