SolitAir launches cargo operations to Tashkent and Navoi
UAE-based SolitAir has started cargo operations from Dubai World Central to Tashkent and Navoi using Boeing 737-800BCF freighters, with particular focus on time and temperature-sensitive perishables.
SolitAir currently operates seven B737-800BCFs with around 20 tonnes of payload capacity each. The Uzbekistan additions extend its network to more than 60 destinations across over 40 countries.
Andijan handles first Boeing 777 cargo flight with 82.5 tonnes of livestock
Andijan International Airport received its first Boeing 777-300 cargo aircraft on 21 September, with Challenge Air Cargo delivering 150 breeding cattle from Liège, Belgium, weighing a combined 82.5 tonnes.
It was the airport’s second new widebody freighter type in less than two months, following an August Boeing 747-400F shipment of 160 cattle weighing 83.3 tonnes. Together, the two operations carried 310 animals and 165.8 tonnes of livestock.
Stratos connects cargo network with Uzbekistan Airways
Uzbekistan-based cargo carrier Stratos has signed an interline agreement with Uzbekistan Airways, allowing it to market cargo transportation across the flag carrier’s wider regional and international network.
Stratos currently operates a Boeing 757-200PCF freighter on charter services from Tashkent to Almaty, Delhi and Dubai, while the interline agreement gives freight forwarders and cargo agents access to a broader range of onward destinations.
Fly Khiva gains cargo authorization at HKIA Dongguan Logistics Park
Fly Khiva has received authorization from Hong Kong’s Civil Aviation Department to accept cargo at HKIA Dongguan Logistics Park, expanding its cargo-handling access within the Hong Kong airport logistics network.
The Uzbek carrier has operated cargo flights between Hong Kong and Uzbekistan since 2024, and the new authorization adds another operational channel for cargo moving through its Hong Kong-linked network.

Kazakhstan begins 163,000-tonne China steel-pipe logistics project
KedenTransService, a subsidiary of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, is handling a multimodal project covering 163,000 tonnes of steel pipes from China during September–October 2026.
The cargo moves by rail and road on two flows: imports into Kazakhstan and transit shipments onward to Turkmenistan, requiring coordinated loading, securing and transfer between both transport modes.
