Tamerlan Alimullaev’s Story at Delta Global Solutions​

Tamerlan began his journey at Delta Global Solutions with immediate exposure to the front lines of freight forwarding. Just one day after his interview, he was placed at Tashkent International Airport, taking on the responsibility for handling shipments and communicating with our customers. In the beginning, he worked across every function, from operations to sales, to gain hands-on experience in various logistics processes. Today, as Sales Manager, he focuses on building strong customer relationships and delivering solutions that work. Though his daily role is now more commercial, he still actively supports operations when needed, especially in urgent or complex situations.

Engineering Precision in Logistics​

Tamerlan’s background in engineering helps him navigate logistics with a precise and analytical approach. He has applied his technical knowledge to a variety of challenges, such as the transportation of sports cars classified as dangerous goods, oversized cargo requiring calculations in topology, shipments involving chemistry and physics, and the handling of perishable goods that demand strict temperature control and precise timing.

"Each shipment has technical, economic, and regulatory dimensions. Applying logic quickly and precisely is essential, especially when safety and compliance are involved." says Tamerlan.

Bridging Academia and Real-World Logistics​

Tamerlan connects his experience at Turin Polytechnic University directly to his work today. 

"Back then, we had to rely on our analysis and logic to complete complex tasks. Now I apply the same mindset to solve real logistical challenges" he reflects. 

The shift from classroom learning to real-world decision-making has been both demanding and rewarding. He sees each shipment not only as a delivery but as an opportunity to apply problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking.

What motivates Tamerlan most is his family, his wife and daughter. He believes that personal growth is tied to serving others, and that’s exactly what he has found at Delta Global Solutions. Tamerlan believes that the culture at our company is built on servant leadership and teamwork, where people work not only for customers, but also for one another and in service of a greater purpose.
 

To those starting out in logistics, his advice is clear: “Learn the fundamentals, but go further. Master negotiation. Think critically. Predict and take proactive action, don’t just react. Don’t give up after mistakes. Stay curious and improve the world.”
