Lufthansa is set to resume passenger flights to Kazakhstan
German flag carrier Lufthansa scheduled the resumption of passenger flights ex Frankfurt, Germany to Almaty, Kazakhstan VV and to Astana, Kazakhstan VV on 29 March 2026
Flights will operate up to five times a week using Airbus A340-300 aircraft
Centrum Holding targets major IPO
The parent company of My Freighter and Centrum Air plans to raise $600 million through an Initial Public Offering with a targeted valuation of $2 billion
Oppenheimer & Co and Citibank will serve as underwriters for the logistics conglomerate, which has rapidly grown to include Uzbekistan's largest private cargo airline and second-largest passenger carrier

The airline will operate the route three times a week on Mondays, Fridays, and Sundays using Airbus A320 aircraft
New aviation hub planned for Kazakhstan-China border
Kazakh-German joint venture Skyhansa is developing a $498 million airport project within the Khorgos-Eastern Gates Special Economic Zone in the Zhetysu region, Kazakhstan
Three-phase development aims to establish a full international multimodal hub, with the initial stage scheduled for completion by 2028 including a cargo terminal, airfield infrastructure, and integrated rail and road access
Pegasus airlines to connect Türkiye and Tajikistan
Turkish low-cost carrier scheduled direct passenger flights ex Istanbul, Türkiye and Dushanbe, Tajikistan on 6 April 2026
The airline will operate the route three times a week on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays using Boeing 737 aircraft

Uzbekistan, Iran, and Türkiye target joint transport corridor
The transport ministers of the three nations met in Istanbul, Türkiye to discuss building a mutually integrated logistics system and expanding regional transit infrastructure
The parties prioritized the development of the Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan-Iran-Türkiye multimodal corridor and formed a joint Working Group to implement digital documentation and streamline border crossings
Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan set new rail freight targets
The transport ministries of the two nations agreed on a joint action plan to expand cross-border railway infrastructure and boost overall freight capacity to 60 million tons
The strategy involves synchronizing infrastructure upgrades and increasing daily train operations at key border checkpoints, building on the 16% growth in bilateral rail cargo recorded in 2025
