Centrum Air is set to launch flights to Kyrgyzstan
Centrum Air will launch direct regular passenger flights ex Tashkent, Uzbekistan to Osh, Kyrgyzstan VV

Stratos Freight, a recently established airline in Uzbekistan, has taken delivery of its first Boeing 757-200PCF leased from US-based AerSale Corporation, with plans to launch operations later this year upon receiving a second jet of the same type
Entering the local market as the country's fifth specialized freight operator, the startup anticipates further expanding its capacity by adding two Boeing 767 freighters to its fleet by the end of 2026
Uzbekistan tops Russian airline international routes
Russian carriers have scheduled flights across 67 distinct routes to the Central Asian nation this summer season, overtaking Turkey's previous top spot and surpassing scheduled flights to China
Driven by labor migration, growing tourism appeal, and transit connections to the United States, bilateral passenger traffic remains robust as major Uzbek carriers and new startups collectively serve dozens of Russian cities
Samarkand Airport scales back summer route network
Operations at the Uzbek airport will contract this spring-summer 2026 season to 19 routes served by 18 airlines, down from 30 routes and 24 carriers in 2025, driven by Middle East flight restrictions and Centrum Air's operational shift to Tashkent
Moscow remains the most heavily served destination with 60 weekly frequencies, followed by Istanbul, while regional and international connectivity continues to adapt through planned or active services to cities like Almaty, Astana, Izmir, and Yekaterinburg

Uzbek rail exports to China surge via Kazakh transit
Uztemiryulkonteyner reported that 76 container trains carrying Uzbek export goods transited through Kazakhstan to China during the first quarter of 2026
Logistics centers facilitated the delivery of 4,992 containers loaded with products like fertilizers, aluminum, and polyethylene through the Khorgos-Altynkol border crossing
