Uzbekistan Airways to launch direct flights to Islamabad
Uzbekistan Airways will launch direct regular passenger flights ex Tashkent, Uzbekistan to Islamabad, Pakistan VV on 14 June 2025
Flights will operate one time a week using Airblue PA217 aircraft
Centrum Holding group expanded its airline fleet
Uzbekistan Airways will lease two Airbus A321neo aircraft from CALC, with delivery scheduled for 2026 to support fleet modernisation and route expansion
Deal strengthens the ongoing partnership between the two companies and aligns with Uzbekistan Airways’ strategy to enhance sustainability and passenger comfort
FlyArystan launched direct flights to Istanbul
FlyArystan Kazakhstan`s low-cost airline, launched direct regular passenger flights ex Karaganda, Kazakhstan to Islamabad, Pakistan VV on 5 June 2025
Flights operate two times a week using Airbus A320 equipment
Tashkent Airport completes its first phase of hall renovation
Tashkent Airport renovated its right wing of the terminal, including a new access road, parking for one hundred twenty cars, and green zone
Second phase will expand the baggage area, add shops, cafes, and services to the greeters’ zone by late 2025
New domestic flights to launch in Uzbekistan
Private Uzbek airline Centrum Air will introduce new domestic routes to improve regional connectivity and reduce travel time between major historical and tourist centers in late June 2025
Routes include Samarkand–Urgench, Bukhara–Urgench, Samarkand–Bukhara, and Bukhara–Tashkent, summer flights ex Tashkent, Uzbekistan to Issyk-Kul, Kyrgyzstan are also available

China Southern airline will launch a new direct route ex Beijing and Daxing, China to Dushanbe, Tajikistan operating twice a week using Boeing 737-8 aircraft on 16 June 2025
The airline will launch ex Guangzhou, China to Tashkent, Uzbekistan route operating three times weekly using Boeing 787-800 aircraft on 30 June 2025

New Tashkent to host multimodal transport hub
New multimodal transport hub in New Tashkent will connect air, rail, and road transport, improving logistics for residents and visitors
Large shopping centers and international financial hubs will also be developed, offering new growth opportunities for the economy
Kyrgyzstan to modernize Irkeshtam border checkpoint
Kyrgyzstan will upgrade the Irkeshtam checkpoint on the Chinese border, significantly increasing its capacity and improving comfort for travelers on 1 October 2025
Project includes inspection facilities, quarantine zone, hotel for 150 people, loading areas, and infrastructure aligned with international standards
Uzbekistan has launched a new road freight route to Mongolia
The new trade corridor aims to boost freight volumes, cut delivery times, and open new markets for Uzbek businesses
Uzbekistan and Mongolia agreed to double transport permits and launch an E-Permit system for smoother logistics
